Flood Relief programme done by Maheswar Land in Majuli

DIBRUGARH, Aug 4:   Like most of the previous years,  this year also the flood of Brahmaputra river has created disaster among the people of the island district, Majuli.

With a view to help this flood affected people of the district, in the patronisation of Maheswar Land: a Riverine Tourist Resort and with the help of Majuli Tourism, Ygdrasill Bamboo Cottage, T.T.G.A.M., Ananta Enterprise a relief programme namely “Let’s Help Together” has been done today.

As a part of this programme, educational instruments has been distributed among more than 150 students of Salmara High school where along with the students and teachers of that school some of the local persons and president and representatives of Majuli District AASU were present.

The owner of Maheswar Land: A Riverine Tourist Resort, Jahnu Boruah has congratulated his local and foreign friends, Majuli District Administration and Salmara High school fraternity for their co-operation in this relief activity and also hope to do some more activity like this very soon.
