KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK PARTIALLY OPENED FOR TOURISTS

Due to devastating flood this year, the opening of Kaziranga National Park got delayed from its normal opening time of 1st October.

The Kaziranga National Park has been opened for the tourists for the year 2019-20.

The park was opened by Assam Chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal. Parimal Suklabaidya, Minister for forest and environment, Atul Bora, Agriculture Minister, Kesab Mahanta, Water Resources Minister and Bimal Bora (MLA) were present on the occasion.

Due to devastating flood this year, the opening of Kaziranga National Park got delayed from its normal opening time of 1st October.

Keeping the safety of the tourists in mind only Jeep safari has been opened for some areas of the Bagori range and Kohora range. The elephant safari has to wait, as many areas of Kaziranga National Park have been damaged by the flood waters.
