ANTHRAX OUTBREAK IN POBITORA: TWO BUFFALOES DEAD

An anthrax outbreak in Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary has resulted in the death of two feral Buffaloes. The Forest Department Of Assam is on alert mood to take precautionary measures to control the spreading of the disease.

Team of veterinary doctors have been deputed by the state government for the mass inoculation of livestock in the region.

The death, which occurred last week, due to Anthrax has been confirmed by the Forest Department. The carcass has already been disposed as per guidelines.
