Guwahati, 3 June: An international seminar on women empowerment was held in Guwahati. The seminar focused on women empowerment and how women can develop themselves in various aspects of life.
The workshop focused on the Development of women self-confidence, providing advances ideas of education, women entrepreneurship & opportunities, market for women & fields, empowerment in the rural areas and breaking stereotype images of the society & fight against toxic masculinity. The event was supported by Indian Institute Inspiration Economy (IIIE) and was organized by Prajwalika.

The seminar took place at the Hall of Convention Training Centre in Guwahati where Dr.Mohomed Buheji as guest of honour, Dr. Dunya Ahmed Abdullah Ahmed as special guest and Dr. Labanya Borgohain , Pinky Dutta were the appointed speaker.
Rupa Neog, President Prajwalika on the occasion said, “We are very happy to organize such seminar and workshop in Guwahati for the first time, we hope this can help a lots of women to empower themselves and chose a better way of life.”
