Digitalant launches ‘Digital Marketing Jobs North East’ Initiative

Guwahati,25June: Digitalant today announced the launch of its ‘Digital
Marketing Jobs North East’ initiative aimed to connect North East India’s rapidly
increasing youth population with sustainable employment opportunities in Digital Media.
This initiative will train youth from the entire Northeast region to take advantage of the consistently expanding and lucrative career option in Digital Marketing. The training for the same will be held at the Digitalant office in Guwahati where students will learn skills right from setting up a company to different digital marketing tools and tactics to getting clients and working as a freelance Digital Marketer. The first batch of training is
scheduled to begin from July 9th, 2019.
Manish Choudhury, Founder and Lead Trainer at Digitalant said, “We live in a time
where people use the Internet for almost everything and this ever-growing popularity of the Internet has created a huge demand for skilled digital marketers. However there is a lack of supply of reliable talent to fill in this gap. With India’s job market at a decline, we felt it was an opportune time to launch our “’Digital Marketing Jobs North East’ initiative to make our youth self-reliant.”
Digital Marketing is a fast-paced, constantly changing career field with more career options than a regular marketing job and not constrained to a particular job profile or a task. The Digitalant employment and skills training will help the youth explore these various lucrative opportunities and take up Digital Marketing as a future career option to be independent and be able to stand on their own feet. There are a wide range of digital marketing opportunities and industry reports state that over half of all marketing hires in the coming years will be digital specialists, with content and digital advertising being the most sought after areas of specialization.
“Our skills training for the youth focused on the Digital Marketing sector is aimed to
influence a systematic change in the mindset during job search from Government to self-independence. Our aim is to train and help pursue sustainable employment opportunities that will ultimately improve the social and economic well-being of entire families and communities of the North East region of India,” added Choudhury.
