Health awareness meeting by Cottonian82

Guwahati, 21 May : “Cottonian82”, a group of ex students of Cotton College conducted two awareness meetings on prevention and control of heart diseases at Mekheligaon and Goalgaon under Majuli district on 18th May, 2019. Dr Apurba Kumar Sarma, renowned Cardiac Surgeon, Nemcare Hospital, Guwahati and ex Cottonian addressed the meeting which was attended by peoples from different villages.  Similar meeting was arranged by the district administration of Majuli which was held at Conference hall and attended by senior citizens, doctors and teachers. Debaprasad Misra, Deputy Commissioner, Majuli and ex Cottonian was present in the deliberations and expressed satisfaction for taking such initiative for creating awareness on issues related to heart diseases.
